I have no Windows 98 sounds, but my cd player works fine.

My ES1688 Plug and Play AudioDrive says that "the resources this divice is using do not match any of its known configurations." How do i get my sound back? thank you.

Hi,

Usually with ES cards came a diskette with DOS drivers. If you have one find Esscfg.exe program. Run it at the DOS prompt and see what actual resources your card's using. Then in Win98 input these values in your ES1688 card properties. (Alternatively you can try to open list of configurations in the Properties dialog and select another configuration available.)

Good luck, Igor M
