Hi we have 4 computers connected on LAN.
But all computers dial out to send/retrieve email. POP3 Email service is provided by a third party. I am looking for a solution where only one PC dials out and collects mail for everybody and distributes on the network instead of all PCs dialing out. What s/w do I need? Thanks for your help in advance.

You will need some type of proxy software to handle this. I haved used WinProxy (http://www.winproxy.com). It's VERY easy to set up and runs in the background on someone's PC (the one that will be dialing to the ISP) and takes very little resources. It handles all requests ("proxies")from your 4 pc's out onto the internet, and then feeds the data back to the requesting PC (all seamless--http, ftp, email, etc). You have to know a little about setting up IP addresses, etc--but they walk you through it step by step.
I have to say that there are other competitive products, too, that you may want to investigate that do the same thing, but all are about the same price depending on licenses, add-on features, etc. You can get email filtering, spam filtering, etc. Winproxy even has a "Black List" that lets you block certain sites or sites with certain words.
