Sndvol32.exe disabled

Comment:
My Sndvol32.exe was disabled after I had merged drive D to C using Partition Magic. I'm running Win98SE. The volume control at my taskbar was diappeared and I can't open Sndvol32.exe. I tried going into Control Panel/Multimedia to enable the preferred device thing, but to no avail and it seems that my sound driver had gone from there. I tried re-install my sound driver, but it said I had already installed the driver which had already appeared in my Control Panel/System, but not Control Panel/Multimedia. Can anyone help to resolve this problem? Thank you!

Uninstall Volume Control in Windows setup, reboot and then reinstall it.
