I've used PCMag's Slice and Splice for DOS and like it very much because it is very small in size and also generates a self joining batch file so one need not have the original application on the target machine. Only problem it does not support long file names. Does anyone know of a similar product but recognizes long file names as well as generate a self-joining batch file?

Hi Rico, hello everyone,

I use File Splitter which also creates a batch file to restore the file after splitting. It does handle long file names in Win95, Win98 and WinNT.

Sorry Mesich, I split a large file to floppies, but unable to find the self-joining batch file to rejoin them. How do I rejoin them?
