Hi; I have my internet in a LAN and all computers have a fast internet conection but my computer sometimes goes fast sometimes slow sometimes dont connect. And there is a problem when I try to use WindowsUpdate the Download Always stops. I have win98.

Verify your DNS, gateway numbers, and proxy settings. IPS love to change numbers without telling you. Having not enough ram can cause windows to stop opening pages and dling. Try pings and traceroutes when it doesn't work right. You could have a bad port on a hub that gets funny when hot or RF is high. Your wiring to the hub may be bad. Use a different port to verify wiring/hub problems.
