Isn't the internet great - but hard to use when looking for a driver! I have a P5SSMe motherboard and a Sis-530 chipset. I need a driver which is certified by the Microsoft Driver Labs for the Sis-530 VGA thingy for a PS55Me motherboard... Anyone got one!

Well good luck I also have sis but its a sis6326 and I cant find a driver that is microsoft certified eather. I am beging to think that sis is no good i am think of getting rid of my sis i cant even play some games because of it.ive been looking for drivers for a long time and havent found nothin. the sis web page dont even have microsoft sertified drivers. GOOD LUCK

dear everyone, unfortunatly, not all driver are certified by microsoft. belive it or not , many sound blaster(at least the not the ensoniq PCI dont) cards dont have certified drivers and there the leading and most popular sound cards on the market.but it doesnt mean that they wont work.certification only means that the drivers have been fully tested by microsoft and meet certain qualification. also if certain hardware doesnt sell very well or isnt very popular, or the hardware is just outdated- vendors will stop development on driver 'tweaking' and certification.doesnt sound fair ,but it happens. the best you can do is live with the latest driver , develop one of your own, or email the snot out of the developer for more driver support. good luck, felix
