I visited Silicon Integrated Sysdtems website and found it pretty comprehensive.

i have problems aswell with the sis620 and m748mr board. It runs word and all other programs fine but total annihilation hangs just as unreal. It used to work fine as there a known problem between the sis620 and the voodoo1 from diamond. Somebody please help me i've tried allmost anything but format c:.

can n e 1 help? i have a intel celeron with a M741LMRT mother board, the graphics that i have got are SiS620 AGP, the problem is that for me to run a game i have to set my desktop resolution to the defult resolution of the game or it will not load up at all, but even when i do that and it does load up, when i return to windows either my resloution is all mucked up, or at least my mouse does not work!, does n e 1 know what is wrong with that and why it does that? please could you e-mail me if you know how i can sort it out!

Hi! there....
other with a GREAT MotherBoard
At this time I installed a RedHad Version 6.0 on my Clonne Computers
recently armed. But I have a little problems whit recognizing some
hardware, specificly the Video Card, Modem, and Sound. that are shipped
whit the MainBoard all included :

PC100 SystemBoard Slot 1/Socket 370 M748LMRT Version 1.3A Full set of
ATX I/O Ports

Oter Iformations about my PC
CPU Intel Pentium III 450 Modelo AT Clone Internal FPU
64 MB RAM.


Well, the manual have a General informations about other hardware, info
like:

1.-Video Card: 64-bit AGP Graphics Accelarator (VGA ChipSet: SiS 620
Hardware Version 042, Video Mem: 4096, Max res: 1600x1200 with 64k
Colores; Max Video Color 16mb 1024x768; ROM,Video,I/O,Access Size 8 bit)

2.-Sound Sys: PCI 3D Sound System (8738AM)

3.-Network Adapter: 10BaseT/100BaseTX (Davicom9102)

4.-FaxModem: V.90 FaxModem DAA Module (HSP56 MicroModem)

5.-Monitor ViewSonic E-40 (h:30-50/v:50-90)

I Will apprecitte any informations where I Can get and pick the software
up for install completely the RedHat V.60.
the X system only show a small part of windows displayed on X system ( 25% aprox) how can fix this problems??

All the drivers are at: www.sis.com.tw, the site is extremely slow, so you will have to be patient...

I have written to SIS for information on openGL support for the SIS(SUC)620 but to date have received no reply....

One person had a question on how to disable to onboard AGP, In BIOS setup, you can select PCI or AGP for video.

Hope SIS pays attention to how many people need these drivers and updates...

Hope to have more information for the group later....

I've got a Xcel 2000 M748Mr pc100 with SiS620 agp. I've tried everything to disable that onboard graphics adapter even thru bios but it won't detect my new card, the TnT2 m64. Where am I messing up? [I've already removed the onboard drivers too]. If anyone could help that'd be great. Thanks.
