I am having problem shutting down my PC. When I click on start and 'shutdown' it shuts down and later automatically restart itself. 'Logging off' work just fine. What could be the problem.

I have had this problem. For detailed help go to WIN 98 Help and search for Shutdown Problems. In summary, this type of problem is often due to a faulty or incorrectly loaded driver. My problem resulted from loading the latest Nvidia Driver with the Antivirus software still active. When I deactivated the antivirus program and then re-installed the driver the problem went away.
