Try this -

Start - Run - Msconfig - Advanced

Check the "disable fast shutdown" option.

I'm having the same shutdown problem and I don't see the "disable fast shutdown" option in Start-Run-Msconfig-Advanced ... any other solution?

click windows update
download all critical updates
