I recently removed Internet Explorer from my system (Using IEradicator), all was going well, however, my "Show Desktop" icon, doesn't work, it did the first 3 days I after I removed Internet Explorer, but, now it doesn't, now I get an error message: "Windows cannot find iexplore.exe. This program is needed for opening files of type 'Windows Explorer Command'. and gives a thing to enter the location of iexplore.exe, is there a way to fix this? I use the Show Desktop shortcut all the time.

or you can hit the Windows key and "M" to perform the same action. (Win+M = Minimize to tray).

The Quick Launch tray is actually a part of Internet Explorer. When you had Win95 and didn't have IE4, you didn't have a Quick Launch tray.
