Here's my problem:
I would like to share my dial-up connection with a second computer through a wireless router. Is this possible?
The main computer is connecting through the modem using a dialup connection to the internet. From this computer I connect to the router (that also have wireless capability) through Cat5. I have a wireless card on the second computer which I want to use to connect through the wireless router to the first computer and share the dialup connection. Is this possible? I would appreciate anybody's advice. See the diagram http://allenscustomsigns.com/dialupwireless.gifstyle="width: 300px; height: 380px;">

Do the following it's what the routers for:
Internet > Modem > Router > then connect each PC to the router wirelessly or via cable depending on the Routers capabilities.
I hope this answers your question or have I misread yours.

I don't think M's suggestion will work with a dialup. Using a wireless connection between the two PCs should work but I don't know about going through the router. I think it might, but maybe someone else will know for sure.

Actiontec makes a two computer external dialup modem with ethernet connections. You would need to a hve a net connection for the first computer and a wireless router or access point and a wireless net card in the second computer.

I have the same problem with Internet Sharing. I did get connected one day but not the next day. I have 4 computers, one DLink wireless router. When I find the solution I'll get in touch.
