I need help, badly... I need to know in which .cab file on the windows installation cd I can find the setupx.dll file?? Thanks, hoping for a answer soon.

If you just want to extract the dll file you can do this through the System File Checker (if that's the file you're missing). If it's not missing, but corrupted, download it and put it in the c:\windows\system folder.

Hope that helps.
Kevin.

Weel, that problem is already solved... Instead, I can't start Windows normally, only in safe mode. I think I'll have to talk to my local PC dealer. Thanks anyway.

When I open computer Win98, there advice square who mention : "Impossible to open the SETUPX.DLL".What I can do

My SFC tells me that setupx.dll is corrupt. If it erroneously will show this 1. what is setupx for and how would one know if it was really corrupt or not?
