You have 32mb RAM. I suspect that you need more in order to work the setup files.
When it is at 7% is the tower light still blinking or does the process actually halt?
I would suggest getting more RAM or using a different boot disk. One that sets up the himem to accomplish the task.

I got windows 98 to install with 15MB ram.
If you don't have windows on your pc I recommend recopying all the file from the cd to your pc again.
If you have windows on your pc I recommend going to C:\WINDOWS\Options\Cabs as a working copy of setup is in this folder.

Unless you get an error message, there is no way to tell what the problem is.

It is by no means certain that you have a copy of setup in c:\windows\cabs. My W98SE has no such thing - but there's no harm looking.

Why do you keep reposting this exact same problem in different threads while the problem is still on the first page? It would help us to help you if we knew what ideas you have already tried, even if they didn't work.
Summary: You bet, although I don't do it the way the "factory" computers do. On most of these, the .cab files end up in C:\Windows\Options\Cabs. The way I do it works for me, Whambox always knows--after the fi...
