I have my View in Windows Explorer, My Computer Etc. set the way I want and Like them, however, it seems after closing the window, booting etc. they chage back to where ever "Windows" feels like it. Is there a way to keep these I want them?

It was checked, doesn't make any difference. This is really aggravating. Each and everytime I go into one of these windows the settings have changed. What else can it be or can I do?

Try this: Set a window up the way you like it. Then hold down the ctrl key and exit.
You could also try turning off the above option. Rebooting and turning it back on.

How old is your monitor? Try a different one.
I've seen monitors with a bad E-prom do the same thing.

This is a relatively new PC. I just downloaded and installed "Popup Cop". Maybe this is the culprit. Also changed my virus program from Inoculate to AVG. I may experiment, unistall/install etc. Thank you.

Open any folder.

View>List

Click 'view'
Setup the folder the way you want it.
Click 'like current folder' button
Now all folders will be the same
