sending files on msn freezes up

My msn works fine to chat but when i try to send files it takes forever and sometimes freezes up on me, do you have any idea why this is happening? I do have a firewall, zone alarm not sure if that's the problem tks

could be firewalls, try disabling them , if not, could be size and/or type of file, try also smaller file, txt or jpg, and send back to yourself, also could be the web is slow, try again later .:)
