Hey

I recently got a Sub7 trojan and cleaned it off of my PC. However, when I ran a firewall to find where the trojan was, I noticed that script.exe had been connecting to the internet.

What exactly is script.exe? A virus or what?

Apparently you did not completely get rid of your Trojan. Go to HTTP://LOCKDOWNCORP.COM/BOTS/DOWNLOADSWATIT.HTML amd use Swat It to get rid of the Trojan. All the best!

Script is used by programmers and web designers for writing macros.

I used Swat It and it didn't detect it.

Does anyone know if Script could be changed to be malicious? Also, can I just try copying script.exe from another Windows 98 PC and overwriting it, if it has been corrupted?

Does anyone know why Script is starting up with Windows and trying to connect to the internet?
