scanregw.exe error appears when I boot up to Windows. I have gone back to dos and run scanreg /fix, and scanreg /opt. I have also run scanregw.exe in windows. When I run it in windows it says I have no errors do you want to backup. I'm at a loss as to what to do next to get rid of the error popping up on startup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Julie

http://computing.net/windows95/wwwboard/forum/72904.htmlBasically Ram failure, possibly delicate failure or mismatch amongst modules, But, instability of electric nature leading to info loss in ram may not be excluded totally, amid less likely. If your system during runtime develops more and more BSOD or hectic behaviors, then it is probably time to change Ram. For a system working on serious tasks, you may have to contemplate that action earlier.
