I have an HPDeskjet 820CSE printer and a Pentium 166 with tons of ram and space. I try to load a Kodak Snapshot Photo scanner and the computer doesn't recognize it. I tried to load a flatbed scanner (EPP compatible) and my computer won't power up at all. The second scanner is 30 bit. I only have a couple of days in which I can return the scanner, but I'd like to be able to use it.
Also, my PS2 port is not recognizing a PS2 mouse. Ideas? Thanks in advance

i have a Umax scanner which was working fine for a while, but suddenly stopped working. the problem is that it will start to scan, then stop.
the scanner test that I run is successful, but the scanner will freeze about two seconds into the scan.
then the scanner will not release the computer to do any other jobs, for example - using the printer. Any suggestions or ideas about why it is doing this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I've just brought a Umax Astra 2000p and when I scan images a black line with slightly smaller blue ones next to it comes up in the middle of the scan. I don't know if the light tube thing inside is broken and I've also tried reinstalling everything, yet the problem remains the same. Can anyone give me an answer to this problem?

i have a Digital Research Technologies scaner and it says that my cables are not hooked up right. what do i do i know they are hooked up right is it the cable comming from the scaner or the softwear!

I need a driver for a olivetti scanner 1000p. The original driver works with WIN95 but I have WIN 98 and the scanner software (Professional Office Desktop) works properly but there is no conexion with the scanner.

I got Acer Prisa 610P parallel port scanner.
After installation of the software I am geting message:

Twain error [T0009]. Error opening data source [T015]. Unable to find TWAIN source manager [TWAIN.DLL].

twain.dll file is there, in Windows dir

Looks like a driver is not installed properly, after several reinstallation I am getting the same message. Plese help, thanks

I have a Visioneer ParerPort.When I try to take my scanned photos to the internet to apply to a web page, they don't work b/c they are .max files. When I try to save them as a .jpg file, a window comes up saying "Cannot load application compnent file Gear32PD.DLL" What does this mean, and what do I do??

I have a MagicKeys 600c scanner which worked for a while then it couldn't find the scanner.
After many tries reloading he software I got it to work for about a week but then it couldn't find the scanner again. It is connected to a USB port. Any suggestions can would be appreciated. Tahnks Joe

I tried to use my scanner after I got the internet installed. Every time I try it give me the following message: HPPRSCLT caused an invalid page fault in module Hp3300.DDL at o1e716d3.
My computer is a 2000 Gateway and my scanner is a Scanjet 3300c. Please help me with my problem.

I have a umax 1220 u when i scan a photo the image has verticle coloured bands of variable width ie. yellow, white, yellow, green, with fine horizontal red lines.....how do i fix this .....I uam using presto page manager vista scan softwear thanks

I have ACER PRISE 620p parallel port scanner....and I've just installed Windows 2000 and since that I am facing imgaing software crashes while intializing the scanner....whenever I try to scan anything using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, PHOTOEXPRESS OR IMAGE READY......it shutdown itself after getting the screen of MIRA SCAN saying "initializing memory" ....its so frustrating.......please note I've downloaded the updated driver for 2000 from acer website....

I would appreciate for the quick response.

I have already bought new scanner ScanJet 3300C. The installation was successfull, but my computer still informs me that the scanner could not be detected on my USB connector. My USB coonector is OK, because it was installed by authorized firm.

I have a HP ScanJet 3200c and I am trying to use the PrecisionScan LT software that came with it and everytime I go to start a new scan I get the following message: HPPRSCLT caused and invalid page fault in module HPPRSCLT.exe I have uninstalled software and reinstalled (even in safe mode) and still doesn't work. Any suggestions???
