Scanner hook-up

Tried to install drivers for two different scanners. Each time USB root driver crashes ,ie yellow check mark. I have an existing LEXMARK 7000 printer installed. I could not get scanners to respond after installing drivers and hooking up USB cable.

Sounds like a conflict between the two drivers. You might try Lexmark support and/or the maker of your scanner's support, but you'll probably have to wait until one or the other is updated.
