Lexmark X1240 Color All in One only shipped with xp/vista drivers. Is there a way to either convert these drivers to work in 98, or, are there any 'open source' drivers available that will get it running? I would be very grateful for any leads or suggestions in relation to this. thankyou.

You are probably out of luck. The NT kernal and Win98/95 are totally different.

Win98 is not supported. Either upgrade the OS to at least Win2K or get an older printer:

offers free driver downloads for the X1240, (98 is listed in O/S selection) but you have to provide your email address. No idea what that may lead to.....
