Gretings...
I bought this scanner and I'm having the worst time trying to install it! It's connected to LPT1.
After all software installation and when I try to scan something, gives the error:
"Other Error - Error code: 0x10ff0800"
The scanner just moves the head, a bit! and POW... error!
Can someone help me? Please? I've tried almost everything... what's wrong!

2things can cause this:

The first one is: Did you unlock the scanner?
There is lock on the scanner that the Mfr.
put on so the scanner bulb dosn't move
during shipping and handle.

The second one is: Did you attach the scanner
before you installed it. If so that could
be the problem. Install the software first, Restart your computer. When your
back to windows shut down and power down
the computer. Now connect the scanner to
the computer. Start up your computer again
and the hardware wizard will detect it.
This is when you install the drivers.
On some hardware it is necessary to install the software first and than attach
the hardware.
If this didn't help you than
get in touch with the scanner's Mfr.

Good Luck buddy

GRETTINGS...
Just to let you Know I solved it.
It was a BIOS problem, I couldn't have it detecting PNP automatically... so I change to manual configuration. It worked.
