Is it possible to add D:\ to scandisk? I am running win 98 SE. I ran into a possible bad cd, and could not figure out how to run scandisk on it.Thanks, Bob

I think that since the drive contents cannot be changed or repaired by Windows, you cannot run scandisk on a CDROM

If you have a suspect CD then try copying it to your hard drive.

If it copies without error then it's probably OK.

This may not work if the CD has any form of copy protection.

Scandisk only works with Fat(32) DRIVES. CDs are written in an entirely different format.
