Scandisk autorun not working

After a bad shutdown(system hangs-reset buttton pressed)scandisk should run automatically however it doesn't."Disable scandisk after bad shutdown" is not checked under "msconfig"-"advanced button"

Check post # 66926 about editing msdos.sys to enable/disable auto scandisk.

scandisk autorun isnt disabled in msdos.sys either
