I have an AMD K6-200 MMX with 64mb RAM and a Maxi Gamer Pheonix graphics card. I have a couple of games (Fallout 2 & Warhammer 40K - Chaos Gate), both of which do not produce any sound effects during the game. They both require Direct X 6 and I am not sure the SB Live is fully compatible with DX6. The DXDiag tool describes the EMU10K1.VXD as uncertified, and when it tries to test the card it fails. Do you have any ideas on this???

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers from Creative ? Also, try disabling full-duplex...Don't forget DirectX 7 is now available.

SBLIVE Value seems to have an inherrant problem running with pentium III chips especially....I ran the card in a pentium III 667 and had an emu10k1.vxd error...I took the same card and placed it with an AMD K6II 450 and had absolutely no problems....I am still looking for a solution....Can anyone help??
I have an AMDK7 700mhz 256RAM and SBlive and i have had the same problems as above but with a game called Ultima Online. I am going to try and install directX seven and see if it fixes itself and if not ill go to SB's website and post what i come up with

Summary: I have a creative geforce pro and a sb live value ... the problem is that they are both on the same IRQ which may be cause the for my system to hang many times if i play 3d games... but just can't see...
Summary: I recently had to reformat my hard drive and start over but when i reinstalled the SB Live! Value software but now Audio HQ get this message: AUDIOHQ caused an invalid page fault in module DEVCON32.DL...
