Save Internet Explorer History

I have come across numerous porgrammes for erasing IE history, but none to save or back it up! Does anyone know how to back it up as it is a very useful way to revisit old sites that were not added to the Favorites list at the time. Losing IE History would be a great inconvenience! I expect it's not very likely one would lose it, but I would still like to know if there is any way of backing it up.

G'day,
I'm not sure if this is the most efficient or easiest way to do it, but your history list is on your hard disk somewhere. Possibly ../windows/progamfiles/explorer/history Just find it on your disk and save/copy the directories to a new one ie ../temp or something. Sorry it's a bit vauge but I'm sure one of the many learned people on this board will tell you. regards, Elric

Hi Albroun and Elric,
The History folder is stored in the Windows directory. C:\Windows\History
Right click on the folder and select Copy.
Go to a different folder such as My Documents and right click on a blank space and select Paste.
If you only want to copy certain ones and not backup the entire History folder then open it up and copy/paste the individual files.
