Save Dial Up Networking Password..?

Iam using windows98 . In the Dial up Networking i always write me password to establish my internet connection. The password check box is always disable & each time i write the password. So how can i enable the Save Password check box to save my password in the password option. Thanks

Go to the Control Panel/Network and add `Client for Microsoft networking'.

I believe the checkbox will become available AFTER you type in the password....

You have to create a User profile and then logon to the computer with it. You having to put your password in every time is a precaution so that not just anybody can get on your computer then connect to the internet... Control Panel -> Users ->, then make sure to logon to windows using that username...
