I got an P2-350, Iwill BD100 motherboard,
64MB PC100 ram and Maxtor 6.4Gb HD.
The problem is, Windows (any version) freeze
after I try to change the resolution or anything similar to that (like opening more than a few windows at a time). The card is S3Trio64v+(2megs). I borrowed Matrox Millenium G200 from a friend of mine and everything worked just fine.
The same problem occured with Trident's 9440 card. What's the catch?

I have good s3Trio64v+ video card that I can change the color settings to at least high color (16-bit) on my window95 before, and I upgrade my PC system to windows98, unfortunately since then I have just 16color setting I can not anymore change it to high color (16-bit) because my video card driver on the disk is compatible for win95 only. I would like to request you to please help me the have a s3trio64v+ driver.

Thank you very much.
Richard

Ok, I have solved my problem by buying a AGP gfx card. In your case, I'd advise you to go http://www.s3.com/swlib and download the newest drivers. If the site still shows "cache error" messages, e-mail me and I'll send you the drivers I have.
