s3trio3d on board slot ibm drivers is there anyone that will respond to the drivers for win 98 2nd edition plz??? i found tones of drivers but none are good and where the heck do i put it at????? plz send me it if u have it on your computer!! plzzzzz im about to wreck this sun of a ***** computer i can only display 16 colors and one resolution its awefull plus!! my comp is slower then when i formated its like everything disapeared!!

Everything did disappear. You need to get on IBM's site and download all the drivers for your machine.

funny you should mention that particular video driver, I work at Computers for Schools in Ontario, Canada, refurbish IBMs and was looking for just that driver. I found it on the IBM site, look for drivers for the bios version: in my case, 6275-N6U, you should find this on the front of the case or the side. works like a charm, gives you 256 colors, Al

which model of ibm do you have? i have an ibm 300PL with win98se and it has the s3trio 3d onboard video chip.. when i first booted, i only had 256 colors..added the video drivers off the ibm site and now have 32bit true color up to 1024x768. i could send you the files if it'll help. let me know. -synphul
