I installed on Win98 the S3-Virge GX/2 driver that I found on the Win98 disk and it seems to work fine. You can find at www.s3.com a large number of relevant drivers. ( mosltly for Win95 )

hi i have flagpoint shocker gx/2 vga card its tv out is working under win95 bu it isnt working under win98 what can i do thanks :)
I have S3 VIRGE DX\GX card which returned invalid page faults and fatal exceptions after 98 upgrade over 95. After losing enough time to buy a new PC I finally ran the old drivers from CD and so far I can't blow it up . So many people have this or similar dilema so I zipped them up and placed them on a server. Download and install from the win95 directory. Even though these are older than Microsoft's default drivers they do appear to be running fine. For card with TV out & Win98 Install drivers W'95 from original disk, istall tvout.inf or s3...inf Run regedit adn turn "ON" s3 option like multiscreen etc.... wide desktop is cool!
