S3 ViRGE GX2 3D AGP & Drivers

Hi All... I have just installed my card (S3 ViRGE GX2 3D AGP) but there is no TVout support at all. The card has it (there are SVHS & Composite outputs) but I have no way of selecting TV out. The manual shows what it should look like but mine is missing the TV section altogether.
I have same trouble, if you got answer please suggest me too. Thank a lot.

You should have file tvsvitch.inf or s3virge.inf. You have to edit this file and select TV device.......always "ON". Then the TV support will appear and you can set it. I have done this, but my Tv couldn`t detect the signal.

By editing the file you "virtually tell the card that it has got a tv out .If you plug the tv into the card and there is no signal from the card onto the TV , make sure your card is set to 640 x 480.then it shoul work.

I have the same card. The TV out works but only in NTSC mode. The check box for the pal mode is faded out.
How di I enable pal Mode?

Have those of you that need the drivers tried the S3 website? (www.s3.com) They have a few drivers there for this card's PCI version, maybe they've got them for the AGP version too!
Hello First off you need to identify your chipset http://208.202.167.131/swlib/enduser/s3id.exe Download this to your desktop for ease you only need to use this once and it works on 95/98

to get the tv output working, be shure that you 've plugged in your tv on the booting of your pc, otherwise the configurationtool will disable all the tv stuff
