My machine freezes when i try to run nhl98.
I've got plenty of ram and running win98 on a houston p100 board with directx 6.0 installed. All drivers come upm as being certified but NHL98 refuses to run. Anybody have any Ideas?

I use a P90 PB Legend 102CD Supreme with 64 MB Ram, 24X CD-Rom, 10.x GIG HDD, with Win95 and when I put the card in the machine it Beeps 4-5 times,loads but there is no picture. Any suggestions appreciated.

i have the cd for venus vga series.
search of cd indicates no driver found.
galaxie group has a home page but could not
access galaxie group.com .
same problem --- no driver found.

try your direct x drivers....direct 3D....the direct x diaglog will test all your drivers....this kind of card needs 3D capibilities on your monitor also....change your adapter in the display area of your system.....then check to see if you have direct 3d...also put in your windows disk when you are in display to update drivers...instead of letting windows find drivers say no...and put in your system yourself.....have you tried the disk that comes with your card??? trying to help....your system needs to support the directx drivers

another way to get your virge to work....is turn off screen savers, any start ups running, pause your task scheduler...can really effect you memory....

your cd dont me shit...or your 10gig drive...the answer is dgx4mb is a monitor supported card...plug your monitor into the card...vga..video graphic accelorator card...if you cant put your monitor into the card and your cd player will still work...vga plug in mean plug into it!!! my husband is laughing so hard he almost knocked his custom vga card off the pci slot

some real strange problems i am having. the colors in windows 95 and 98 are all weird and there is like strange colors on destop and streacks of crap coming on the screen all the time. it only does this in windows not linux or when any games are running. help!

I have just installed win 98 second edition, and have IE 5.5, the display is really bad ie.freezes up and takes so long to bring up any screen whether on the net or not, I have tried full accel.and none but thr same prob.....

For all those looking for drivers for S3 Virge chip set graphic cards, please go to www.S3.com, go to the drivers section, then to the graphics section, then to the more S3 drivers section, then pick your card.

For those having problems with or finding drivers, go to www.windrivers.com. If your in a hurry, go to "advanced search." And I hope you have a high speed hook-up. Read that: 'not a modem.'
