I get this error pop-up quite often and just recently...it reads: "Run-time error '91'. Object variable or With block variable not set" It says "IPU" along the top of the pop-up window.

boot to c: type in c:scanreg/restore
in the menu, choose an earlier date when that error didn't popup

May I be horribly pedantic about DOS and scanreg/restore (etc) :-
"scanreg" is the program and "/restore" is known as a switch (it qualifies the action of the program).
Switches should always be added with a space before them, so it should be scanreg /restore. Similarly in DOS you would write copy /y rather than copy/y
It's a good habit to get into if you use DOS but I think both scanreg /restore and scanreg /fix happen to be ones that work without the space - but some don't.
Just clarifying.
