I am trying to network two computers using 10/100 5 port hub. So far everything is working find except that I now want both computers to have internet access. I have a regular phone line connected to computer # 1 which has a 56kbps modem. (internal) How can I access the same modem on computer #2. Is it possible ?Can two computers use the same modem and still function correctly? Is there another way to have two computers logging on to the internet using a hub?

hey buddy.....I've succeeded at long lengths to do what you are trying to do. You need a proxy server program. There are plenty around, but if you want to access multiplayer games on the internet (as I do) then you want to try Winroute. You can download a 30 day trial here: http://www.tinysoftware.com/ I highly reccomend it as you can have multi computers on your network playing in internet games through 1 modem.
