Comment:

on my network my boss has a DOS based accounting program. she would like the secratary in the next office to beable to run that program off of her machine. she dosent want to just install the prog on the other computer becasue then they would have to switch the data files between them and that would end of being a can of worms. thus she wants the secratary to run the dos prog off her computer thru the network. is this possible? if so how? any help appreciated.

Reply:

map a drive to the machine with the dos app installed, created a shortcut to the dos .exe or .bat file that you wish to run.
