I'm trying to run a DOS-based Btrieve program in Windows 98 from the hard drive but it doesn't seem to be running. It works though if I run the batch file from the CD. The contents of the CD are the same as what's on the hard drive. I open up the DOS prompt and run the batch file but keep getting an error saying a TAS.OVL file not found or error while loading...even though it's there. If I do it from the CD it comes up and works great. Any ideas?

Can't help much - don't know the prog.

It is however not that uncommon that a simple copy from CD to HD does not work properly. It's probably still looking for the file on the CD rather than the HD because that's how the exe file is programmed.
