rundll32.exe error

Everytime i go to configuration displaysettings and i set the colors on 16 or 32 bit real colors then i get a rundll32.exe error. I can only set 256 colors. Can somebody help me to solved this problem

I would try uninstalling your video card drivers and then reinstalling them. To uninstall, go to My Computer, System, Device Manager. Double click on Display Adapter. Click on your adapter (make it blue). Then go down a little and click Remove. Hopefully this will get rid of the old software. (before you do this make sure you have the cdrom with the video drivers on it to reinstall).
Restart your computer. Windows hopefully will detect a new hardware device. You'll need to stick the cdrom in with the drivers on it and browse to where the drivers are on the cdrom and then reinstall.
Rundll32 errors are notoriously difficult to isolate as to their cause. The above may work, may not. Hope it does.
