It seems like everytime I ask my computer to do something that involves using video I get a runDLL.32 error and my maching just lockes up and won't respond to anything except the off button please help!

I have problems with rundll32 when viewing mpg or mpeg it send an small windows saying that the program has made an illegal operation then this windows keep blocked. I even try to use ctr-alt delete but cause no effect. I can use the mouse and makes other operations but the only way I can take this off is by pressing the reset button this will make the pc to restart and perform an scandisk. Please reply thanks for your kind attention
