I need help, i just upgraded to a 350, and the chip works, but it comes up with an error in safe mode stating something about rundll16.exe and "socket operation on a non socket" PLz help me im desprate, so i need to reinstall windows, i am a technical person and understyand computers, any ideas

1 more thing rundll16.exe iz a virus cuz when you click an icon that some 1 sent you an invisebol file called rundll16.exe shoots out so all you got 2 do iz find the file the file that the person sent you and deleat it along with rundll16.exe and the cant find file thing will stop poping up.that waz a trojan hours virus hope i helped i will be back 2 see this page. by ACTIVE

I see all of poor poor people looking for a file you not only wont find, but you also dont want to find it. Rundll16.exe is a virus in itself. Explination: you download something ..it runs and installs rundll16.exe it also puts into win.ini a call to it. Also it puts a call to the infect file in registry..(hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run. The key is called registry scan and it calls for "rundll32.exe).You will want to get rid of this key. Now I didnt I didnt find this out lightly. I did my homework. First I went through every .cab file on win95cd (29 .. dont forget the mini.cab)no rundll16.exe. So I did the same with win98 cd (71) and came up with nothing... except for rundll.exe and rundll32.exe. Windows does not ship a rundll16.exe, so if you have it on your PC you have a virus. what does this virus do? well go to the guys who know http://www.europe.f-secure.com/v-descs/subseven.htm . Go there and it will tell you exactly what you have been infected with. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. Tony
