When I open my computer, I get one error message which I am not sure what to do! The error message is like this:

Error in: NvQTwk
Missing entry: NvCplDaemon

My video card is Inno3d Tnt2 model 64/model 64 pro!

May I know how to fix this?

Thanks

Even though the link below shows it's for Winddows XP it should also be applicable to Windows 98SE.

Go to Start and Run.
Type msconfig and click OK.
Uncheck the box next to RUNDLL32.exe NvQTwk,NvCplDaeme initiialize.

My video card works fine without it checked.
That will get rid of the error message you are receiving.

To correctly fix the problem you will need to unistall the video card drivers.
Change the video adapter to Standard VGA and reinstall the drivers.

Hi Christopher,

For the Nvidia I have always uninstalled them through Add/Remove in the Control Panel.

Click Nvidia Display Drivers.

Click Change/Remove.

Click Yes.

You will get a prompt asking if you would like to delete all the desktop manager profiles. I select No here to save my previous settings.

You will be prompted to restart the computer.

Do so and let Windows load the Standard VGA drivers.

Now reinstall the Nvidia drivers.

HTH

Best Regards,
Mesich
