In Scheduled Task I have one called Walign what exactly does this do? Do you recommend this and if so when should I have the computer run this feature? In the settings area it says it says to stop the schedule task after 72 hours, is it neccessary to have this feature on this long, there is a check mark in front of it. Thanks Again.

Yeah if you like. It will not yeild any performace increase unless you are running MS Office 7.0 for Win 95 or Office 97 (not sure about 2000, etc). There's am ini file called winali.ini that includes a list of files to align. Whats alignment? Modifying file headers of programs and creating a new section table that starts on a 4 K increment (1000 in hex). Supposedly this increases performance becasue CacheMap can map directly to sections (on the 1000 increment) blah blah blah

When I am logged on to the internet, Walign seems to be transferring about 100 bytes every couple of seconds. Why does it do this and what is it sending. When I kill the program (walign) the communications stop.
