If anyone could help me find a driver to upgrade my Rockwell HCF 56K SeakerphonePCI modem, to V.90. There home page told me nothing. I need help, please.
Howdy, Who makes your computer? Is it a name brand our a custom built system?

They have a page on drivers sorted by modem manufacturer. You need to identify who made your modem. They have a page on that as well. [I have the same chipset as yours. The modem was made by Askey Corp. It's a piece of junk.]

I don't have a comment for the others but i need help. I can't get online cause my modem is not being found. This has happend to me before. But all i did was move my computer. The first time i moved it I switched PCI slots and it started working just fine. I moved it again, but all I did was move the monitor from one end of my desk to the other, and now my modem can't be found again. I tried everything i tried last time. Switching PCI slots, several times, uninstalling and reinstalling the modem, but nothing is working this time. I don't know what to do. Pleas if anyone could suggest anything to me other then buying a new modem i would appreciate it, however if you think it best to buy a new modem, please let me know.

To All With A Rockwell HCF 56K Speaker Phone Micro-Modem:
Find + Use Drv Ver: 2.1.2.135/b.
If U Still Have A V90 / Kflex Or Connection
Prob, Try These:
1st +MS=K56,0,,,40000,56000
2nd +MS=V90,0,,,40000,56000
For Those Who Don't Know What I'm On about,
1) Go To Control Panel "In Start Bar"
2) Click On Modems.
3) Click On Your Modem In The Window + Then
Click Properties.
4) Click Connection.
5) Click Advanced.
6) Paste + Copy The Lines Provided In The
Extra Settings Window.Hope This Helps At Least 1 Person:
So Go + CLICK AWAY :)

I too have the Rockwell HCF 56K Data Fax Speaker PCI modem. I have my modem string ammended at> control panel,to modem icon to properties using the connection tab then the advanced button to read +MS=V90. Now I really would like to upgrade (it) the comm.dll (driver) that it uses. I have went to all the links on this info forum to no avail...please if anyone has a sure shot to a site that does have a updated driver for this Please Please Post or e-mail me at Kevsbabi@aol.com.
