I recent had to flash my bios and restart my system for some reason the fax did not reload during the setup of my HP Pavilion 4550z. I have the Windows 98 second editon on the machine. Can anyone direct me to a download for the fax software?

If you're sure it was due to the bios upgrade you should go into cmos and check the settings. Upgrades sometimes clear the cmos settings. However I don't know why that would affect your fax software.
Do you by chance mean modem drivers? If so open the case and look for a model # on the card or post back a description.
