Thanks for the tip; wcr3d. I get the general idea ... could you or someone else tell me exactly what I am looking for and what do I replace it with? (There is a floppy and a CD that I am suppose to use to restore to factory settings)I found a text file on the floppy. In a folder called "Bin" and then a subfolder called "cddata" and this is what it says:
CS-R36 1
TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-5302TA
TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-5502TA
TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-5602B
CD-ROM CDR-S1
CD-ROM CDR-S1G
CD-ROM CDR_S1G
CD-ROM CDR_S16
CD-ROM CDR_S18
Any suggestions? When I tried to restore before it said I have a CD ROM on drive=2 Model Number=HITACHI CDR-7930. And that the restore couldn't complete.
Thanks,
Rick

Really you don't have to replace anything. Just add the make and model of what you have to the list. Make sure you add the driver in the appropriate place.
