Hi,
I need to restore the settings on my PC and forget how to do it.
I downloaded a screensaver which added ads and a search function to IE and it really screws things up! So, I want to restore it back to the way it was yesterday.
Would someone please post the directions to restore my system?

on boot up, hit f8 just before win logo. in that menu, choose c: prompt only. at c: type in c:\scanreg/restore [note the forward slash] in that menu choose an earlier date to restore
