Dear....
I go to this site, Jam TV, to see what's on television in the evening. When I click on the program name, to see the description, a window pops up that cuts off the right side of the text. Can this window be resized?
Thanks,
John

See if changing to a higher monitor resolution, 1024 x 768 for example, helps.

Hi Dave.
I'd rather not go to that extent as yet. If there are no other ideas I may have to do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Many web site developers seem to live in a fantasy world where everyone has a high resolution monitor, broadband connection and uses Internet Explorer exclusively. Their web sites really suck.

It sounds as if the designer of the site you are trying to view has fixed the page size for some reason and disabled scrolling. One way around this would be to use a browser which allows you to change the page magnification. This would allow you to shrink the page to fit your screen, giving a similar result to changing your screen resolution as suggested by the previous poster. I know that the Opera browser has this feature, so why not try out the free version? You might never go back to IE!

Changing the resolution is in no way permanent or difficult. You could temporarily change it to something higher just to see if that fixes it and then change it back.

Hi Andy,
I'm sorry. I guess I didn't make myself clear. The popup window is entirely ON the page, but the text in the window is partially cut off on the right side. I can view it if I drag the border a bit to the right, but I thought there might be a setting that allows one to widen these popup windows.
Hi Dave,
You're right of course. I don't need to customize all my setting just to try a different resolution. I will try that.

P.S.
Andy - You're right about Opera. I have been using it for several years now. I presently have version 6.06, but have seen fit to pay for the upgrade to 7. I only really use IE on occassion.
