This is my friends computer he says it was upgraded from windows 95 to 98. Problems with the operating system are Illegal operation errors when on the internet. Script errors . also before the computer boots up theres a message that says a windows file is not there . He gave me his windows upgrade disk with the product key . My question is can I install this over top of the existing windows to hopefully correct the problems
