Hi, I have the 2 full restore cds as well as the update driver cds for this compaq (7360). I checked the cds for file sizes and they match that of the system sav folder (partition). I really need my HD space and would like to remove the files in this folder to regain my 1.36 G worth of space. Would it hurt anything if I removed them? I don't want to repartion my HD due to all the trouble I just went through to get it all back again. I just want to free up some of this space within. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

I'm not familiar with a system sav folder. But it would probably be safer to add another hard drive. They are very inexpensive these days.

I'll bet it's a Compaq. That folder allows you to do a reinstall if you need it. You can safely delete it if you've got the Win98 folder and cabs saved somewhere else.
