removing shutdown option on shutdown list

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the shut down option from the shutdown window. i just want it to have the options like, restart or log on to diff user. Any help would be appreciated

You may be able to do it with the Policy editor. It is on your windows CD in tools folder I believe. Look for POLEDIT. Al

I used the same steps to lose my log off prompt in the start menu. But before you start make a backup copy of Registry Editor and consult it with expert, (may be A1 can help).
Lets see if it works for you to lose the shutdown command. Start Registry Editor and locate the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Choose Edit, New, Binary Value from the menu. Name the entry NoShutdown. Press Enter and set it to the following value: 01 00 00 00
Click on Ok, close the registry Editor, and restart to make the change effect.

I also want to remove this shutdown button but Azeem policies suggestion doesn't work. Any other suggestion?
