I need to reinstall windows 98 because I deleted a lot of files and my computer takes 30 minutes to restart.I would like to know a safe way to do this operation without losing anything I have in my computer, specially 1000 songs.Thanks

install 98 over the top of itself.

Yes, just run 'setup' on the install CD.

there should be Windows 98 setup files in your c:\windows\options\cabs\win98 directory.

I HAVE AND ERROR WHEN I START UP WINDOWS ERROR LOADING EXPLORER.exe YOU MUST REINSTALL WINDOWS 98 SE AND WHEN U USE SETUP DISK AND SETUP TO INSTALL AGAIN AFTER IT RESTARTS AND GOES TO FINISH IT COMES BACK UP WITH THIS ERROR.
