regsvr32 not working.... help!

I replaced my Voodoo 2000 with a Voodoo 3000 pci card, now when Win 98 starts I get: "Component mmail32.ocx not registered, file is missing or invalid." I have checked, the file is there. I ran the depends program and all associated dll's were there. I copied the mmail32.ocx from our other computer (running Win 95b) and that did not fix it. When I manually tried to register it using regsvr32, it returns a message "GetLastError returns 0x0000001f". I tried installing a program that I thought would fix it, but a dll needed would not register during the install. (oh oh, more trouble.) Same error message when I tried to manually register the dll. Any ideas what happened? I removed all the Voodoo 200 tools and drivers before I installed the 3000. I'm stumped!! What should I try next?? Thanks!

I would uninstall the software for VooDoo 3000, install software like Fix-It 3.0 and run the Fix Wizard and Fix Registry sections because they are often neglected when uninstalling. Finally I would remove the reference to the PCI card in the Device Manager and reboot my system. When Windows asked you about installing the drivers for VooDoo 3000 it will not find any reference to VoodDoo 2000.

Thanks but it did no good. Still get the mmail32.ocx error and still can not force it to register using regsvr32. Any other ideas?
